Twenty something horse trainer, rider, journalist and explorer with a thirst for the unknown- an ordinary kiwi girl who likes to wander off the beaten track.
I love wild horses and wilder places. My passion is discovering the frontiers along with the animals and people who call those remote places home. I have always been curious about the natural world and have been lucky that ten years of working with horses has taken me not only to the competition arenas, but to some of the most far flung places on the planet.
I love of all animals and am passionate about understanding and helping to preserve them.
I have trained wild stallions in New Zealand, helped set up animal welfare organisations to aid working animals in Egypt, India and Fiji, raced across Mongolia, attended the first World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan and spent months living in the mountains of Kazakhstan on a beef farm.
I value adventure and believe in challenging yourself to push the limits. I think you should always follow what you believe in and I hope I can inspire others to chase their dreams.
Nothing is impossible.
Sounds like one fantastic life! I visited NZ in 1998 — Auckland and the Coromandel Coast. One of the happiest trips of my life. I loved NZ so much.
